Sandra Capri is the Chief Technology Officer at Ambient Sensors in Boise Idaho. During her time at Ambient Sensors, she has worked on a diverse set of subsystems/embedded chipsets including Bluetooth Low Energy 4.2 and 5, Bluetooth Mesh, connecting embedded WiFi systems to Webservers and Azure IoT, experimenting with controlling IoT devices with Amazon's Alexa, and has spent time experimenting with Raspberry Pi and BeagleBone Black for IoT control. Sandra has been in the technology industry for over 32 years, previously working at Hewlett Packard and Marvell Semiconductor in various roles including firmware designer for embedded systems, and ASIC design. Sandra has taught various classes to coworkers over the years on such topics as Git, and using Linux tools in an embedded environment.
